Mag. Stanka Šarc Majdič graduated and later obtained a master’s degree from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana.

She began her career in the business sector but soon joined the financial sector, where she has been working for over 15 years, including 12 years in banking. She gained banking experience as an executive director for risk management at Gorenjska Banka and previously in international banking groups such as Sparkasse and Hypo Alpe Adria Bank.

She also ventured into the marketing agency, where she took over the management of the finance, accounting, and IT department, enhancing and optimizing processes through planning and financial reporting. She further developed her expertise as a compliance director in a fintech company, overseeing compliance and risk management systems and processes, while providing advisory services to the management board on business development, risk management, and compliance.

Throughout her professional journey, she pursued additional education in strategic planning, employee development, banking, and business finance, with a focus on company valuation and the development of credit risk management strategies. She actively developed and implemented new risk management tools, aiming to improve business performance and efficiency.

Dr. Gašper Artač Director of Energy & Sustainability Services Development, Kolektor sETup d.o.o.
Dr. Gašper Artač is an expert in the field of green transformation and new business models in the energy sector. He graduated and earned his doctorate from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Ljubljana. During his doctoral studies, he was a visiting researcher at the Electricity Research Center at University College Dublin. He gained valuable previous work experience at the Laboratory for Energy Strategies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and in companies such as GEN-I and Petrol. Currently, he is employed as the Director of Development of Energy and Sustainability Services at Kolektor sETup. He has extensive experience in the development of innovative business models in energy markets and cross-sectoral integration, as well as project development and management, including emerging segments such as energy storage, smart energy infrastructure, distributed energy systems, and active energy management. He has also led and provided guidance on numerous multidisciplinary EU-funded projects.

Stefan started his professional career more than 20 years ago in the field of industrial automation and industry digitization. Experiencing constant technological progress through various customer projects, he started studying information systems and formal innovation and product management and obtained his engineer’s degree from the Universities of Applied Sciences in Salzburg (2011) and Upper Austria (2013). Stefan has been part of the COPA-DATA team since 2013. As a member of the Energy Industry Team, he deals intensively and openly with the trends and challenges in this industry. Customers and partners around the globe and from various industries utilize COPA-DATAs software platform zenon since more than 30 years. The ongoing transition(s) in the energy industry requires utilities, but also industrial consumers to master their electrification challenges.

In the following years, he worked in the field of development and implementation of energy solutions, in the public and private sector, in the region of SE Europe. There, he was responsible for the development of a complex generator of ultrashort pulses, carried out process optimization, and also took on the role of head of the HR department. At Gorenje, as a project manager, he successfully led the development of the latest line of Premium ovens. Since 2022, at Container, he has been managing projects in the field of container battery storage systems, working with VIP clients.

How can I register? What are the registration rates?

Please visit the registration page for registration, deadlines, rates, and other registration information.

Can I purchase a corporate pass?

Sure, you can purchase single or corporate pass. When you book at least 3 tickets at the same time, you are entitled to 10% discount (Corporate pass). Should you require any help with registration, contact us at info@prosperia.si or call us at +386 31 717 599.

What is the registration rate?

All conference registration fees are listed on the registration page of the Conference website.

Why did I receive Advance Invoice?

If you purchase the ticket in the month(s) before the conference takes place, you will receive Advance Invoice to fulfill tax legislation requirements. Invoice will be sent to you after the event.

When will I receive an invoice?

Invoices will be issued immediately after you payment has been confirmed if paying by credit card or paypal. If paying by wire transfer an official invoice after the conference.

Is there any discount available?

When you book at least 3 tickets at the same time, you are entitled to 10% discount (Corporate pass). Please contact us at info@prosperia.si for bigger groups (7+) so we can arrange some extra discount for you.

If you work for NGO or academia, you are entitled to 30% discount (Non profit pass).

Is it possible to make the registration payment on-site at the conference?

No. All registration payments must have been received by Prosperia before the conference commences. Authors must ensure that their payments are complete by the Use case speaker registration deadline.

Can I register for the conference and then revisit the site to complete the payment at a later time?

No. Registration/payment is a single process and must be completed end-to-end. It is possible to pay by credit card, Paypal or a bank transfer.

How can I pay the conference fee?

It is possible to pay by credit card, Paypal, or bank transfer.

Am I able to complete a Registration/Payment for multiple delegates?

Yes. When you book at least 3 tickets at the same time, you are entitled to 10% discount. Be careful to choose the appropriate ticket – Corporate pass in order to be entitled to the discount.

Can my invoice be sent to someone else? E.g. An accounts office or another person?

Invoices are generated automatically within our registration system and can only be sent to the e-mail address provided in the registration form. Should you require any help, contact us at info@prosperia.si or call us at +386 31 717 599.

Is it possible to change the information shown in an invoice?

Normally no. However, minor changes can be sometimes be made in exceptional circumstances. As the invoices are generated automatically within our registration system this may not always be possible.

What if I cannot attend the in-person conference, will there be an option to attend virtually?

No. The conference will be held live with no online streaming.

Can I change in-person attendance to online attendance?

No, because the conference will be held live only. A colleague of yours can attend instead of you if the change is confirmed by Prosperia.

Please let us know if you wish to make a replacement by sending an e-mail to info@prosperia.si informing us of the name and e-mail of the participant that is replacing you. There is no cost associated with a replacement if made until 3 pm on the day preceding the event (October 3 until 3 pm).

I have completed a registration/payment for the conference, but I am now unable to attend. Can I have my payment refunded?

Logout or cancellation of the participant’s registration is possible without the obligation to pay the participant’s fee. This must be done in writing to info@prosperia.si at least 30 days before the event (until midnight on September 4). However, 30% of the payment will be charged for administration costs if registration is cancelled between 9 and 29 days before the event (cancellation sent between September 5, 0:01 and September 25 midnight).

In case of late cancellation, which means less than eight (8) days before the event (September 26, 0:01 am or later), or non-participation in the event, the participation fee will be charged in full.

I have completed a registration/payment, but I am now unable to attend the conference. May a colleague attend instead of me?

Yes, this is the preferred solution. Please let us know if you wish to make a replacement by sending an e-mail to info@prosperia.si informing us of the name and e-mail of the participant that is replacing you. There is no cost associated with a replacement if made until 3 pm on the day preceding the event (October 3 until 3 pm).

What is the registration cancelation policy?

Logout or cancellation of the participant’s registration is possible without the obligation to pay the participant’s fee. This must be done in writing to info@prosperia.si at least 30 days before the event (until midnight on September 4). However, 30% of the payment will be charged for administration costs if registration is cancelled between 9 and 29 days before the event (cancellation sent between September 5, 0:01 and September 25 midnight).

In case of late cancellation, which means less than eight (8) days before the event (September 26, 0:01 am or later), or non-participation in the event, the participation fee will be charged in full.

Can you arrange accommodation for me?

Participants are responsible for the booking and cost of their accommodation. Due to the limited capacities of the hotels, you are advised to book your hotel room as soon as possible. Prosperia cannot be held responsible for individual reservations and all costs shall be borne by the guest. Guests should acquaint themselves with the cancellation policy at the time of reservation.

Where will the conference take place?

The Innovation of Energy ’23 will be held at the Brdo Congress Centre (Predoslje 39) near Kranj. Brdo is located approximately 30 km from Ljubljana and around 10 km from Ljubljana airport (Airport Jože Pučnik). You will receive detailed information on parking and how to reach the venue 2 days prior the event.

Due to GDPR we cannot provide a list of attendees. However there will be plenty opportunity for networking during conference breaks.

You can print your certificate of attendance upon logging in into your account.
