Ljubljana, 2 December – As Europe accelerates toward a digitally driven energy system by 2026, Ljubljana is preparing to become the region’s strategic hub as it hosts the EU Regional Digital Energy Summit 2025 (DES’25) on 4 December — a boutique, high-level gathering of system operators, engineers, policymakers, AI specialists and innovators shaping the next phase of Europe’s energy transition.

With AI, flexibility and cyber resilience now determining Europe’s energy security, DES’25 brings together the frontrunners whose decisions will influence markets, infrastructure and consumers across the continent — making it one of Europe’s most consequential energy events this year.
