Security and reliability are becoming key prerequisites for the successful deployment of innovations – without trust, there is no scaling. With the growing number of distributed energy resources, inverters, battery storage systems, and smart devices in the grid, the energy system is becoming more digital – but also more exposed. How can we ensure reliability and resilience at a time when control is increasingly moving to the cloud and devices can no longer be centrally managed? The discussion will shed light on critical points of cybersecurity, interoperability, and regulation, while seeking concrete solutions to protect the infrastructure of the future. And it is precisely here that innovation and resilience meet: in the search for solutions that enable progress without compromising security.
